Med en skræmmende tynd og aparte udseende krop skræmmer den ansigtsløse mand livet af sine omgivelser og snart følger uhyggelige rygter om, at han kidnapper områdets børn. - Gyserfilmen "Slender Man" er instrueret af Sylvain White (The Americans, Major Crimes) med manuskript af David Birke (Elle, 13 Sins). I rollen som Slender Man ses af Javier Botet (It, The Mummy) desuden medvirker Joey King (Independence Day: Resurgence), Kevin Chapman (Person of Interest), Jaz Sinclair (When the Bough Breaks) m.fl.

It is amazing how horror films crush the box office, no matter if they are good or could be done better. So, who is the Slender Man? A creepy creature with no face, with body that is tall and too thin, and whose arms are terrifyingly long. Most importantly, the Slender Man is said to have the supernatural ability of haunting and kidnapping children and teenage girls. It would be nice if this was just a film, but there is a 2016 documentary telling the story of two 12-year-old girls from Wisconsin who stabbed their classmate and accused the Slender Man for making them do it. Sometimes the reality could be worse than fiction.
