Duke Diver (Morgan Freeman) is a manager of a happy place – the luxury Villa Capri in Palm Springs, California. He is an ex-lawyer in the Witness Protection Program, who once defended the heads of the most dangerous criminal gangs in the world. His small kingdom is invaded by Leo (Tommy Lee Jones) and ex-FBI agent, now retired. The two strong and stubborn men play a series of nasty tricks to each other, trying to win the heart of the beautiful Suzie (Rene Russo) until one day the mafia appears, threating both their beloved Villa Capri and Duke’s life. The two rivals have to forget about their competition and fight as a team.
