EditDumplin' (2018)

Based on the #1 best-seller of New York Times, Dumplin' by Julie Murphy, the film centers on the rebellious Willowdean ('Dumplin'), the plus-size daughter if a former beauty queen. Starring Jennifer Aniston (Rosie Dickson) and Danielle Macdonald (Willowdean "Dumplin'" Dickson), this is a story of breaking the stereotypes, related to the human body, and particularly to the women’s body. Rosie is organizing a Miss Teen Bluebonnet pageant without expecting that her daughter will sign up for the event. While it all begins as a protest, the situation soon escalates to an unseen extent when other contestants follow Dumplin’s example. This utterly changes the idea of the pageant and makes a local revolution in this small Texas town.
